Creative celebrities enjoy their stay The special attention that Clico Boutique Hotel lavishes on all its guests is reflected in the many lovely comments left in our guestbook. To protect privacy, authors of comments have not been identified. However, on your next visit at Clico, take a look at the guestbook to see who wrote what! An internationally renowned artist stayed at Clico at the beginning of February and thanked the guesthouse “for a wonderful time”. She was in Johannesburg for her exhibition. An author of two South African bestsellers stayed at Clico in June 2007 and called it his “home away from home”. “Thank you for the special service time,” he wrote. A world-famous Hollywood actor stayed at Clico in October and November 2007. He thanked the guesthouse by writing: “We loved being with you, and we loved your food, Sean! Hope we get back here again.”  One couple described Clico as: “A boutique hotel, not a guesthouse!” Another couple commented: “What a wonderful place! Décor is superb and food great.” A guest complimented Clico on its “beautiful grounds, amazing hospitality, fantastic staff!” “Can’t wait to come back!” she wrote. Other remarks include compliments on the “unique accommodation” and “superb breakfast and brilliant service”. One guest from New York wrote in July 2006: “I feel at home in this place – the friendship, food and laughter will stay with me for a long time.” It seems that at Clico, every guest is a celebrity. |
